Amanda earned her certificate in Basic Mediation Training and Family & Divorce Training. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas (and multiple sections), the American Bar Association (and multiple sections), and local county associations. She uses the ethical guidelines outlined for mediators by the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
Additionally, she is a mother of three and has lived through her own high-conflict divorce involving severe parental alienation. She is a parental alienation awareness advocate and uses her personal experience and that of others to raise awareness about the effects of parental alienation.
Amanda Slyter is a respected Trial Consultant & Paralegal, and Legal Strategist with over a decade of litigation and courtroom experience. She has worked on numerous complex cases and jury trials in state and federal jurisdictions. In addition to her legal background, Amanda is a Notary Public, an entrepreneur and business consultant, a prior restaurateur, a prior owner of several small businesses, a Professional Organizer, and a Life Coach over the past two decades. She has worked with various clientele, including parents with small children divorcing couples, college students, young professionals, elders, and small business owners.
